SRHSB Columbus 2025 Presentation Prize Winners

We are delighted to announce the following recipients of the prizes below for their excellent presentations at the SRHSB Columbus 2025 Conference. 

Best Clinical Talk: Sasidhar Karuparti
Endoscopic Third Ventriculostomy versus Ventriculoperitoneal Shunting for Hydrocephalus Treatment following Fetal and Postnatal Myelomeningocele Repair

Sasidhar’s reflection on being awarded the Best Clinical Talk prize is available below:
“I am honored to receive the SRHSB Best Clinical Prize for my presentation entitled “Endoscopic Third Ventriculostomy versus Ventriculoperitoneal Shunting for Hydrocephalus Treatment following Fetal and Postnatal Myelomeningocele Repair.” This award represents a valued recognition of work that is aimed at improving the evidence base for the management of hydrocephalus in patients with myelomeningocele. This work highlights the importance of multi-institutional collaborative efforts to optimize management for spina bifida patients, and I am grateful for this award and its recognition of this. I thank the SRHSB for its commitment for promoting research and academic exchange within the field of spina bifida and hydrocephalus”.

It’s a privilege to have received the SRHSB President’s Talk Prize for my presentation at the annual conference in Columbus, Ohio. I’m thankful for the opportunity to share this work with such a dedicated community, striving to improve outcomes in hydrocephalus and spina bifida. I’m also deeply appreciative of the Society’s support through the 2024 SRHSB Graduate Travelling Fellowship and look forward to continuing to work together in years ahead.
