Harry’s Hydrocephalus Awareness Trust (Harry’s HAT) Student Research Bursary

SRHSB is pleased to have fostered a new partnership with Harry’s Hydrocephalus Awareness Trust, with an award to support a student project supporting the joint aims and objectives of Harry’s HAT and SRHSB.

In 2023, the Harry’s HAT Student Research Bursary award was awarded to Prisha Sharma at the Division of Neuroscience, University of Manchester, to undertake a project entitled “Comparison of the awareness of hydrocephalus and spina bifida in south Asians living in the UK compared to those in south Asia and the determination of best methods to raise awareness and empower women with the knowledge to prevent and/or detect hydrocephalus and spina bifida early through the get ahead initiative“.

We look forward very much to hearing about the project outcomes at the SRHSB Manchester 2024 Conference, but regret to announce that no further bursaries are currently available from Harry’s HAT.
