Harry’s Hydrocephalus Awareness Trust (Harry’s HAT) Student Research Bursary
SRHSB is excited to announce a new partnership with Harry’s Hydrocephalus Awareness Trust with a new award to support a student project supporting the joint aims and objectives of Harry’s HAT and SRHSB.
The award will be £2000 for a project with a maximum duration of 10 weeks.
Due to the constitution of Harry’s HAT, the research must be of direct benefit to children with hydrocephalus in the UK. This however wouldn’t stop a study being conducted overseas if the learning could be shared in the UK to the benefit of children with hydrocephalus here.
The award can be used in any area of research that would raise awareness and/or progress understanding through clinical and/or basic science research into the condition.
Any published reports resulting from the award should mention this funding.
The charity asks that any student who is awarded funding, commits to raising awareness of the charity within their hospital or University setting- this could be as simple as putting up a couple of posters and/or ensuring their clinical or academic setting has information about Harry’s HAT clearly displayed.
