Scientific Meeting Venue
The venue for all scientific presentations will be the Aula Magna of the medical school of La Laguna in the Canary University Hospital. The medical campus has two auditoriums, a large area for exhibitor and poster displays, well-equipped rooms for breakout sessions and free WiFi. The venue is located half way between the two most important cities in Tenerife island, Santa Cruz and La Laguna, which are very well connected thanks to the metro tramway which is located about 150 meters from the hospital.

Tenerife is the home of the third biggest volcano in the world. Teide, which is seen from every island and is the most emblematic volcano of Canary Islands. The volcano and its surroundings comprise Teide National Park, which has an area of 18,900 hectares and is the most visited natural monument of Spain and Europe, and the eighth most visited in the world (2015).
Less than 3 miles away from the Canary Hospital is La Laguna’s historical center that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. La Laguna has often been called the “Florence of the Canary Islands”, since its large number of churches and convents, as well as its old town and historic buildings.

Transportation
Tenerife provides excellent transportation from the city to the scientific venue via a tramway and buses (see routes and timetables). The bus from the North and South Airports to La Laguna takes 8 and 90 minutes, respectively. One of the
